Teks | Teka Lang, Mga Batang 90s!
THE MISSION
Teks was an initiative that commemorated Filipino street game culture and tapped into the "Batang 90s" concept. It was based on the card game Teks, whose gameplay involved drawing cards numbered between 1 and 60 to complete a storyline. The game relied heavily on betting and involved flicking the cards into the air. Teks were often traded as collectibles and often treated as a type of currency between school children.

THE OUTCOME
For Teks, we created a series of illustrations reflecting its gameplay. We drafted street scenes of children engrossed in the game and incorporated colorful, heavy lines to achieve a raw visual execution.
THE IMPACT
Teks was featured in the Asia Art Archive in Seoul, South Korea as part of a campaign by I Saw Design PH.
